According to renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Juventus is showing interest in Marco Palestra, one of the breakout talents of this Serie A season.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano highlighted the midfielder’s impressive form at Cagliari and the excitement surrounding his potential move:

“We will follow developments closely regarding a fantastic player, and we are genuinely happy for our football,” Romano said.
“Marco Palestra is excelling at Cagliari—more than just performing well. He has been one of the revelations of this year’s championship. Let’s not forget he is still an Atalanta player, and once again, Atalanta is giving Italian football a significant talent for both the present and the future.”
Top Clubs Express Interest, But No Easy Deals
Romano also addressed speculation linking Palestra to both Inter and Juventus. “There have been plenty of questions about Palestra concerning Inter. Both Inter and Juventus have already made inquiries to gather information on him.
Both clubs are closely monitoring his progress, so he is certainly on their radar,” Romano explained. However, securing the player won’t be straightforward. “Acquiring Palestra today doesn’t mean completing a quick or simple transfer.

Atalanta is considering various figures for him, but they are not in a rush to set a fixed price. This is very much in line with Atalanta’s approach, as we’ve seen with players like Lookman.
Romano emphasized that Atalanta sees Palestra as a long-term investment. “They believe they have an absolute gem in their hands and are not inclined to offer significant discounts. So when you hear figures like €35 million, the reality might be closer to €40 million. But most importantly, there is no written price that clubs can simply negotiate against.”
As the summer transfer window approaches, Palestra remains one of Serie A’s most intriguing prospects. Both Juventus and Inter will have to navigate Atalanta’s careful strategy if they hope to secure the talented midfielder, whose potential continues to draw attention from top clubs across Italy.
