Juventus are continuing to closely monitor Destiny Udogie, the talented left-back currently playing for Tottenham Hotspur and the Italian national team.

The 2002-born defender has impressed with his athleticism, versatility, and technical ability, making him one of the most promising players in his position across Europe.

Spalletti’s Admiration for Udogie

Much of Juventus’ interest is believed to stem from the appreciation of head coach Luciano Spalletti, who has already worked with Udogie at international level.

Under Spalletti’s guidance with Italy, the young full-back has shown significant development, combining defensive solidity with attacking flair.

His ability to push forward, deliver quality crosses, and maintain physical intensity throughout matches makes him an ideal fit for Juventus’ tactical vision.

The Bianconeri are reportedly eager to satisfy their coach’s request by exploring a potential deal with Spurs.

According to TuttoJuve, Juventus could propose a swap deal involving Michele Di Gregorio, the 1997-born goalkeeper who is expected to leave

Turin at the end of the season. Despite solid performances, Di Gregorio may seek a new challenge, opening the door for a strategic exchange.

Possible Swap Deal with Tottenham

The potential move gains further intrigue due to the appreciation of Tottenham’s manager Roberto De Zerbi, who is said to admire Di Gregorio’s qualities between the posts.

The former Monza goalkeeper could emerge as a candidate to replace Guglielmo Vicario in London, should the club decide to reshape their squad.

In this scenario, Udogie would make the switch to Juventus, strengthening the left flank with youth and dynamism, while Di Gregorio would take on a new role in the Premier League.

However, any concrete negotiations are expected to be postponed until the end of the season. Tottenham’s final league position—and whether they secure Premier League survival—will play a decisive role in determining the feasibility of the deal.

For now, Juventus remain attentive observers, ready to act when the right moment arrives.
