Brahim Diaz to Juventus as FREE AGENT?

Juventus are already looking towards the future, and an intriguing opportunity could soon emerge on the market: Brahim Diaz on a free transfer.

According to Tuttosport, as reported by TuttoJuve, the Morocco international currently has a contract with Real Madrid running until June 30, 2027, but no agreement over a renewal has reportedly been reached so far.

This situation has naturally attracted the attention of several clubs, including Juventus and Roma. The two Serie A sides are said to have made informal contact with the player’s entourage to understand Brahim Diaz’s potential availability and financial demands.

At this stage, however, there are no advanced negotiations, while Real Madrid still have the opportunity to reach an agreement with the player and extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Juventus, though, are reportedly monitoring the situation closely and could be ready to act if the right opportunity presents itself.

A Perfect Fit for Spalletti?

Brahim Diaz could represent exactly the type of versatile and technically gifted player capable of thriving in Luciano Spalletti’s system.

The 27-year-old can operate as an attacking midfielder, play on the right or left wing, move intelligently between the lines and create numerical advantages with his technical ability and dribbling.

Such versatility could make him a particularly valuable addition to Juventus’ attacking department.

Spalletti already has several offensive options at his disposal, but Brahim would bring international experience and, perhaps more importantly, the ability to cover several positions without forcing the coach to change the team’s tactical identity.

The player’s contract situation is what makes the potential deal especially interesting. If Brahim Diaz does not renew his contract with Real Madrid, he would be able to reach a pre-contract agreement with another club from January 1, 2027, allowing him to move at the end of the season without any transfer fee.

For Juventus, who must continue to pay close attention to the financial sustainability of their operations, such an opportunity could be extremely attractive.

The club would avoid paying a transfer fee and could instead focus its financial resources on the player’s salary and possible agent commissions.

Milan Could Be Juventus’ Biggest Rival

Juventus would not be the only Italian club interested in Brahim Diaz, however. Milan could potentially emerge as one of the biggest obstacles in any attempt to bring him back to Serie A.

The Moroccan international knows the Rossoneri environment extremely well, having spent three seasons at San Siro between 2020 and 2023 while on loan from Real Madrid. During that spell, Brahim made 124 official appearances for Milan and developed a strong connection with the club.

That history could give Milan an important advantage should Brahim Diaz genuinely become available.

Juventus are watching closely, though, and according to the latest reports highlighted by TuttoJuve, a potentially major free-transfer opportunity could be one to follow very carefully in the coming months.
