Bianconeri want to sign Real Madrid left-back

Juventus, known as La Vecchia Signora, is preparing a significant squad reshaping ahead of the upcoming season.

With several key positions under review, the Italian giants are setting their sights on Real Madrid’s Fran García. He is a priority option for the left-back position as for Fichajes.

Fran García’s role at Real Madrid has become increasingly uncertain. Despite his talent and past performances with Rayo Vallecano, the 25-year-old defender has found limited opportunities under Xabi Alonso’s evolving tactical plans.

With Álvaro Carreras expected to arrive from Benfica, García may be deemed surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabéu. The club is in the midst of finalizing its squad for the Club World Cup, pushing out players who are not integral to their immediate plans.

Fran García : An ideal fit for Igor Tudor’s vision

Juventus is carefully monitoring García’s situation and considers him a realistic and affordable alternative to their top target, Nuno Tavares.

Complications in negotiations with Lazio for Tavares have made García a more accessible and appealing choice. The Spaniard’s style—quick, offensive, and tactically aware—matches the profile sought by the main coach Igor Tudor.

Igor Tudor aims to rejuvenate Juventus with younger. And with more dynamic players who can offer versatility on the flanks.

Miguel Gutiérrez is another name under consideration, but García’s availability and La Liga experience may give him the edge.

Although he hasn’t cemented a starting role at Real Madrid, his performances in domestic and European competitions have kept his reputation intact. At 25, García still has time to grow and evolve, and a move to Serie A could revitalize his career.

With Juventus keen on reinforcing their defensive options and Real Madrid open to a sale, Fran García’s transfer to Turin seems increasingly likely. Talks are expected to progress swiftly, with both clubs looking to finalize decisions before pre-season preparations begin.
