In an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, football agent Federico Pastorello addressed the current situation involving Arthur, who is shining on loan at Gremio.

Pastorello reflected on the midfielder’s strong form in Brazil and considered whether a possible return to Juventus during the January window could become a realistic option.

The Bianconeri continue to search for a new deep-lying playmaker, but Arthur’s profile may not match the current tactical needs in Turin.

Pastorello explained that Arthur evaluated a Juventus stay before leaving for Brazil. A different coach was in charge at that time, and the environment appeared less suited to his qualities. Pastorello believes that Luciano Spalletti prefers a midfielder with more power, presence, and defensive force.

He doubts Arthur fits that description, despite the player’s strong technical ability and impressive passing rhythm. According to him, Juventus may look elsewhere for a player who can bring more physical balance to the midfield.

“Before going to Brazil we had considered the possibility of staying with Juventus, but there was a different coach at the time. Now I believe Spalletti is looking for a player with more physical, high-impact qualities. I’m not sure Arthur can be that kind of player.”

The agent highlighted Arthur’s excellent displays with Gremio. He praised his confidence, fitness, and improved consistency. Pastorello also expressed hope that Carlo Ancelotti will soon recall the midfielder to the national team.

He believes Arthur deserves another opportunity because he is performing at a very high standard in Brazil. The level of his recent matches reflects a renewed focus that could help him regain international recognition.

A Loan Expected to Continue Without Changes

Arthur remains a Juventus player, yet Pastorello stressed that the plan is to complete the loan agreement. The deal with Gremio runs until June, and both the player and club view this path as ideal.

Pastorello does not expect major twists in the coming months. Arthur feels comfortable in Brazil and values the trust he receives there. He needs regular minutes to rebuild his career, and Gremio provides the stability he sought after difficult seasons in Europe.

“And he’s doing extraordinarily well at Grêmio. We hope Ancelotti calls him back into the national team because he’s really playing at a very high level in Brazil. The player still belongs to Juventus, but the goal is to complete this loan, which runs until next June. I don’t expect any major surprises—he’s very happy with the choice he made, also because he needs continuity.”, Pastorello ended.

Pastorello concluded that the midfielder is satisfied with his choice and wants to maintain this positive momentum. A return to Juventus in January appears unlikely unless circumstances shift dramatically. For now, Arthur remains committed to finishing his successful loan spell and continuing his revival in Brazil.
