Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is expected to sit out Sunday’s Serie A fixture against Monza at the Allianz Stadium. This after suffering a right thigh injury during Wednesday’s match against Parma.
Initially perceived as a tactical substitution by manager Igor Tudor, Vlahovic’s halftime exit was later confirmed to be injury-related.
Medical examinations conducted at J Medical on Thursday revealed a muscular overload in the rectus femoris of Vlahovic’s right thigh.

Juventus confirmed the diagnosis in an official statement and stated that his condition will be monitored daily.

While the club remains hopeful of a swift recovery, his availability beyond this weekend remains uncertain. The target is to have him back for the crucial May 4 encounter against Bologna.
This latest setback marks Vlahovic’s third muscle-related issue this season. And having previously been sidelined during late November, early December, and again in January.
Dusan Vlahovic injury … more minutes for Kolo Muani?
His absence will likely lead to increased minutes for Randal Kolo Muani. Who replaced him during the second half against Parma. Kolo Muani is expected to lead the line in Tudor’s 3-4-2-1 system. Having shown flashes of potential in limited appearances since Tudor took over.

Vlahovic had started all four games under Tudor, becoming a key figure in the manager’s plans after Thiago Motta’s dismissal.
With Juventus entering a critical phase of the season, their push for a top-four finish could be impacted if the Serbian forward’s absence extends beyond the weekend.
Despite Monza sitting at the bottom of the table, the Bianconeri can’t afford to drop points. Especially with tougher fixtures looming. Fans will be hoping for a quick recovery for their No. 9 as the season nears its final stretch.
