As Juventus prepares for the upcoming winter transfer window, the club isn’t only focused on bringing in new talent—it’s also evaluating the possibility of offloading some players.

According to Sportmediaset, four players are reportedly on the market: Joao Mario, Filip Kostić, Vasilije Adžić, and Jonas Rouhi.

The two more experienced players, Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario and Serbian winger Kostić, have struggled to secure a regular place in the squad under both coaches Tudor and Spalletti.

For Joao Mario, adapting to Juventus’ system has proven challenging, and opportunities have been limited.

Similarly, Kostić has failed to consistently impress, leaving the club open to considering permanent transfer offers if the right proposal arrives.

Juventus appears willing to negotiate their departures outright, aiming to streamline the squad and free up space for potential reinforcements.

Loan Moves on the Horizon for Younger Talent

Meanwhile, Juventus is taking a different approach with the younger members of the group, Montenegrin midfielder Adžić and Swedish prospect Rouhi.

Rather than permanent transfers, the club is leaning towards loan deals, allowing these players to gain valuable first-team experience elsewhere.

For Adžić and Rouhi, the priority is game time and development, and a temporary move could provide the ideal environment to hone their skills, return stronger, and compete for a spot in the first team in future campaigns.

Overall, Juventus is clearly trying to balance squad management with player development as the winter window approaches.

Offloading underutilized players permanently and sending promising youngsters out on loan reflects a strategic approach to maintaining a competitive and well-rounded squad, while also giving each player the chance to flourish in their respective careers.

The winter transfer window promises to be an important period for the Bianconeri, with both departures and potential new signings set to shape the team’s trajectory for the second half of the season.
