According to Tuttosport, negotiations between Juventus and Kenan Yildiz over a new contract have reached a delicate stage. The gap between the two sides is small but significant — around half a million euros.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are closely watching the situation and could soon make an audacious move. The English club, led by manager Enzo Maresca, is reportedly planning a major push for the Turkish talent.

If Juventus fail to finalize Yildiz’s renewal soon, Chelsea may take advantage of the standstill. Reports suggest the London club could prepare an offer worth up to €10 million per season for the player.

The total value of the potential deal could reach a nine-figure sum, aligning with Juventus’ valuation of their rising star.

Contract talks stalled but Juventus remain confident

At the moment, there is no alarm in Turin — but concern is growing. Yildiz’s current deal runs until 2029, yet his representatives, led by his father Engin, are pushing for improved terms.

The 19-year-old forward is asking for a salary exceeding €5 million per year. This would make him the fourth-highest earner in the Juventus squad, a major step up from his current position as the 19th.

Such a figure would also reflect his growing importance both on the pitch and as a marketing asset. Juventus have already met Yildiz’s agents several times in recent weeks, hoping to close the deal quickly.

However, the discussions have not yet produced an agreement. The club expected smoother talks but remains confident that a compromise will be found.

The Bianconeri have no plans to part ways with their young star. Nevertheless, if the stalemate continues, both parties may eventually consider alternatives — including Chelsea’s tempting proposal.

For now, there is no panic at Continassa, Juventus’ training headquarters. Yet time is becoming a factor, and the Italian giants know it is time to accelerate discussions before the Premier League’s interest turns into a concrete offer.
