Luca Toni, Italy’s 2006 World Cup-winning striker, shares his insights on Juventus’ struggle to catch Napoli and Inter in Serie A.
Watching from his boat and the beach, he notes how the current champions, Napoli, made smart moves early, including signing a star like De Bruyne. Inter has refreshed its squad with a new coach and potential additions like Lookman.

Meanwhile, AC Milan, free from European competition, can fully focus on the league and recently gained Modric, a legend in recent years.
“If Vlahovic leaves, Juventus needs two or three strong signings to stay competitive. Right now, the difference is clear.” He remains hopeful, though, that coach Tudor will make the team a serious contender by season’s end.
Tonali and Federico Chiesa : The game-changes Juventus needs
Toni strongly supports bringing in Sandro Tonali, calling him a transformative midfielder worth every penny.

“If I were Juventus, I would also try to bring Chiesa back on loan. At Liverpool, he’s not part of the long-term plan, but his desire to prove himself can be a huge asset.”

On Vlahovic, who once commanded a €70 million fee but is now surplus to requirements, Toni believes he can still score goals anywhere in Serie A. “But if you sell him, you absolutely need a striker who can net 20 goals.”
Toni is optimistic about Juventus potentially securing Kolo Muani’s return from PSG. “Muani knows the club, Tudor, and Serie A well. Bringing him back makes perfect sense.”
If that deal falls through, he suggests considering Hojlund on loan, recalling his impressive form at Atalanta before moving to Manchester United.

Finally, Toni praises Vlahovic’s current scorer David, who has never scored fewer than 25 goals over the past three seasons.
“David’s stats are impressive, but Serie A is tougher. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain that scoring pace with tighter defenses. Having Yildiz back will definitely help Juventus; keeping him despite Premier League interest is a big win.”
