Juventus continue to work behind the scenes on their transfer plans, with their strategy inevitably shaped by whether they secure qualification for the next UEFA Champions League.

The outcome of the season will heavily influence both their budget and the caliber of players they can realistically target. Among the opportunities being monitored, the club remains highly attentive to potential free transfers.

One notable name is Bernardo Silva, whose contract situation at Manchester City has sparked interest across Europe.

However, another high-profile option that has been linked with the Bianconeri for months is Robert Lewandowski, currently under contract with FC Barcelona but approaching a crucial phase in his future.

Juventus Monitoring Lewandowski Situation

Juventus are determined to strengthen their attacking department this summer, regardless of ongoing discussions surrounding Dušan Vlahović.

The possibility of signing a proven striker like Lewandowski is undoubtedly appealing, but significant financial obstacles remain.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have held multiple conversations with Pini Zahavi, the agent representing Lewandowski. The relationship between Zahavi and the Juventus hierarchy, including figures like Damien Comolli, is reportedly very positive.

These discussions have not only focused on Lewandowski but also explored other potential opportunities. Despite their admiration for the Polish striker, Juventus have set clear financial limits.

Lewandowski currently earns around €33 million gross per year—figures that the Italian club considers unsustainable. For any deal to materialize, a substantial wage reduction would be essential.

Multiple Options on the Table for Lewandoeski

A salary adjustment is also central to Lewandowski’s future in Spain. Barcelona are prepared to offer him a contract extension, but on significantly reduced terms.

The message has already been communicated to Zahavi: if Lewandowski wishes to continue under coach Hansi Flick, he must accept a lower salary.

However, Juventus and Barcelona are far from the only clubs interested. There is strong interest from Major League Soccer, where an attractive financial package and lifestyle project have been presented.

Additionally, clubs from Saudi Arabia remain in the race, capable of offering lucrative deals that are difficult to match elsewhere.

With several options on the table, Lewandowski has decided to take his time. April is expected to be a decisive month, as he evaluates every proposal before making a final decision on where to continue his illustrious career.
