Manuel Locatelli is enjoying one of the most influential seasons of his career with Juventus, establishing himself as a true leader in midfield.

The Italian international has made 39 appearances across all competitions, wearing the captain’s armband and contributing to five goals.

Beyond the numbers, his impact is most evident in the way he dictates tempo, controls possession, and provides balance between defense and attack—qualities that have made him indispensable to the team.

A Leader at the Heart of Juventus

Locatelli’s development into a complete midfielder has not gone unnoticed. His composure under pressure, tactical intelligence, and ability to read the game have elevated his status within the squad.

As reported by TuttoJuve, his performances this season have drawn attention from top European clubs looking to strengthen their midfield with a player who combines technique with leadership.

One of his biggest admirers is Roberto De Zerbi, who previously coached Locatelli at Sassuolo. Their successful collaboration in the past appears to have left a lasting impression, with De Zerbi reportedly identifying Locatelli as a cornerstone for his future project.

Tottenham’s Ambitious Plan

As De Zerbi edges closer to taking charge of Tottenham Hotspur, he is already shaping his vision for the squad. Discussions with the club’s ownership have reportedly included transfer strategies, with Locatelli highlighted as a top priority for the upcoming summer window.

However, any potential move hinges on Tottenham securing their place in the Premier League. Should they avoid relegation, the North London club could make a serious push to bring the Italian midfielder to England.

His experience, leadership, and tactical discipline would offer exactly the stability De Zerbi seeks as he aims to rebuild and elevate the team.

If the transfer materializes, it could mark a significant step in Tottenham’s evolution—anchored by a player who has already proven his ability to lead at the highest level.
