Juventus could make a concrete attempt to sign Michael Kayode from Brentford, with the Italian full-back emerging as a potential target for the Bianconeri ahead of next season.

According to Calciomercato, Juventus are very interested in the 2004-born defender and could consider making a serious approach for his signature.

Kayode, who plays for Brentford and is part of the Italian national team setup, is reportedly a player who has caught the attention of the Turin club.

However, any potential deal could prove complicated because of Brentford’s asking price. The English club reportedly values Kayode’s transfer at no less than €40 million, a figure that could make negotiations difficult for Juventus.

The Bianconeri would therefore need to carefully consider their options before deciding whether to push ahead with the move.

Cambiaso Could Hold the Key

One possible way for Juventus to make the operation more manageable would be the sale of Andrea Cambiaso.

The 2000-born full-back is believed to have a market abroad, and his departure could provide Juventus with the financial resources required to move for Kayode without hesitation.

A potential Cambiaso transfer could therefore have a direct impact on Juventus’ plans for the Brentford defender, giving the club greater room to meet the English side’s valuation.

Juventus are not the only Italian club reportedly keeping an eye on Kayode. Inter are also interested in the Brentford full-back, adding another Serie A club to the picture.

For now, the €40 million valuation remains the main obstacle, but Juventus could still explore the possibility of making a concrete move in the coming months.
