Juventus may be preparing to make a bold move for the signature of Antonio Rudiger, the 1993-born central defender currently starring for Real Madrid and the German national team.

According to reports from Calciomercato, the Italian giants are exploring the possibility of luring Rudiger back to Serie A, where he previously flourished under Luciano Spalletti at Roma.

Rudiger’s contract with Real Madrid is set to expire this June, leaving the player with the freedom to consider his next step.

While lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia are said to be on the table, Juventus could have a unique advantage: the presence of Spalletti on their bench.

The former Roma coach knows Rudiger’s qualities inside out, which could make a return to Italy an enticing option for the defender.

Negotiation Challenges and Financial Considerations for Rudiger

Despite the appeal of a “homecoming” to Serie A, any potential move to Turin would come with financial compromises.

Currently, Rudiger earns approximately €14.5 million per season at Real Madrid, a figure that Juventus may find difficult to match. For the transfer to materialize, the player would likely need to accept a significantly lower salary than what he currently enjoys in Spain.

Still, the prospect of playing under a familiar coach in a competitive European league, coupled with the chance to be a central figure in Juventus’ defensive line, could prove persuasive.

This combination of sporting ambition and personal connections might be enough to sway Rudiger toward the Italian giants, even over financially tempting offers from abroad.

As the summer transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Turin to see whether Juventus can turn this potential blockbuster move into reality.

With Calciomercato highlighting the club’s interest, Rudiger’s next destination promises to be one of the most intriguing storylines of the offseason.
