Juventus respond Fiorentina’ offer for Zhegrova

Juventus have made their stance crystal clear regarding the future of Edon Zhegrova, with the Bianconeri unwilling to compromise on the conditions of any potential transfer this summer.

According to TuttoJuve, Fiorentina remain interested in the Kosovo international, but the two clubs are currently far apart on the structure of a possible deal.

The Florence-based club are reportedly considering a loan move with an option to buy, allowing them to evaluate Zhegrova throughout the season before deciding whether to make the transfer permanent. However, that proposal does not fit Juventus’ current transfer strategy.

Juventus Want Guaranteed Income

As reported by TuttoJuve, Juventus are only prepared to negotiate under two specific conditions: either a permanent transfer or a loan that includes a mandatory purchase obligation.

The club have no intention of accepting a standard loan with an optional buy clause, as it would leave too much uncertainty over the player’s long-term future and provide no guaranteed financial return.

The Bianconeri’s position reflects the philosophy adopted by the club’s new management, which is focused on generating funds from outgoing transfers to help finance new arrivals while maintaining financial stability.

Every sale is viewed as an important part of Juventus’ broader squad-building strategy ahead of the new season.

Fiorentina Face Difficult Negotiations

Fiorentina continue to view Zhegrova as an ideal addition to strengthen their attacking options, particularly on the wings.

Their preference remains a lower-risk agreement that would allow them to assess the player’s performances before committing to a permanent deal.

Juventus, however, see the winger as both a valuable sporting asset and an investment they are determined to protect.

Having committed significant resources to bring Zhegrova to Turin, the club are unwilling to risk seeing him return after a temporary spell with a lower market value.

While Fiorentina’s interest is genuine, reaching an agreement is expected to be challenging. Even sources close to the Tuscan club acknowledge that negotiations are complicated by Juventus’ firm demands.

For now, the message from Turin is unmistakable: any club hoping to sign Edon Zhegrova must agree to terms that guarantee Juventus a certain financial return, with no room for exceptions.
