Juventus are reportedly pushing strongly to sign Kim Min-jae this summer after the defender’s situation at Bayern Munich changed dramatically in recent weeks.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the South Korean centre-back is no longer considered untouchable by the Bundesliga giants, who are now open to negotiating his departure before the start of the new season.
Despite being under contract until 2028, Bayern are reportedly willing to listen to offers in the region of €30-35 million.

The German side had invested around €50 million to bring Kim to Munich, but the club is now prepared to accept a lower fee in order to rebalance the squad and reduce their wage bill ahead of a busy transfer window.
Juventus Monitoring Bremer Situation
Juventus have already initiated contacts with the player’s entourage as they continue evaluating defensive reinforcements.
The Italian giants are preparing for uncertainty surrounding Bremer, whose future remains unclear after attracting interest from several European clubs.
Kim’s experience in Serie A with Napoli makes him a highly appreciated profile inside the Juventus hierarchy, especially considering his previous success in Italian football.
The defender’s physicality, tactical intelligence, and leadership qualities are viewed as ideal characteristics for the demanding environment in Turin.
Juventus believe Kim could immediately strengthen the back line and bring stability to a squad aiming to return to the top level of European competition.

Saudi Clubs Ready to Enter the Race for Kim Min-jae
However, the biggest obstacle for Juventus remains the player’s current salary. Kim reportedly earns close to €10 million per season at Bayern, a figure considered extremely difficult for Italian clubs to match under current financial conditions.
This financial barrier has also cooled interest from Turkish side Fenerbahçe, despite previous admiration for the defender.
As a result, clubs from Saudi Arabia are emerging as serious contenders for the 29-year-old. Saudi teams are financially capable of covering both Bayern’s demands and the defender’s salary expectations, making them strong favorites if negotiations accelerate in the coming weeks.
For now, Juventus remain attentive and hopeful, but much will depend on Bayern’s final demands and Kim’s willingness to lower his salary in order to return to Serie A.
