Juventus are reportedly keeping a close eye on two Atalanta players whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, as the Bianconeri look to seize potential market opportunities ahead of the summer window.

According to Calciomercato, the Turin giants are carefully evaluating the situations of two experienced figures from the Bergamo-based club, both of whom could become available on a free transfer.

With squad depth and long-term planning in mind, Juventus are exploring cost-effective solutions that could strengthen key areas of the team without requiring major financial outlays.

Defensive Experience on the Radar

The first name on Juventus’ shortlist is Berat Djimsiti, the Albanian international centre-back who has been a consistent presence in Atalanta’s defensive line in recent seasons.

Born in 1993, Djimsiti brings leadership, tactical intelligence, and valuable Serie A experience.

However, Juventus are not alone in monitoring his situation, as both AC Milan and AS Roma are also said to be interested in securing his services.

Djimsiti’s contract status makes him an attractive option for clubs seeking defensive reliability without a transfer fee. For Juventus, who may look to refresh parts of their backline, his profile fits the bill as a ready-made solution capable of contributing immediately.

Zappacosta Also Considered

The second Atalanta player under consideration is Davide Zappacosta, the experienced right-sided wing-back born in 1992.

Known for his energy, attacking support, and versatility along the flank, Zappacosta could offer Juventus an additional option on the right side, an area that often demands both defensive solidity and offensive output.

As reported by Calciomercato, the coming months will be decisive in determining whether Juventus decide to pursue a double free-agent swoop.  Much will depend on their broader transfer strategy, financial priorities, and competition from rival clubs.

What is certain, however, is that the Bianconeri are already laying the groundwork for the next campaign, carefully scanning the market for smart, strategic additions.
