Juventus are intensifying their efforts to sign Canadian striker Jonathan David on a free transfer. And moving ahead of Serie A rivals Inter Milan and Napoli.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are optimistic about sealing the deal. Confident they can outmaneuver their domestic competitors in securing the 25-year-old’s services.

David’s departure from Lille is imminent, with his contract set to expire at the end of June after five impressive seasons in France.

His status as a free agent has sparked interest from several top European clubs. And making him one of the most in-demand players of the summer window.

Serie A clubs battle for Jonathan David signature!

Inter Milan have already presented an offer for David, maintaining their pattern of capitalizing on free transfers under CEO Beppe Marotta.

Napoli, too, have held multiple meetings with David’s representatives in an attempt to strengthen their attacking line-up.

However, it is Juventus who are now pushing hardest to land the forward. With uncertainty surrounding the futures of Dusan Vlahovic and Randal Kolo Muani, the Turin-based club is eager to reinforce their offensive options.

Juventus are reportedly ready to meet David’s wage expectations, demonstrating their serious intent.

Beyond Italy, European giants like Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona have also shown interest, having contacted the striker’s agents in recent months.

Yet, Juventus appear to be in pole position. And offering David the chance to become a key figure in their rebuild under new leadership.

As the summer window approaches, David’s decision will be closely watched. But with Juventus stepping up negotiations and prioritizing the striker as a primary target, a move to Serie A — specifically to the Allianz Stadium — is becoming increasingly likely.
