According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have already begun shaping their transfer strategy, guided by the clear ideas of Luciano Spalletti. Speaking on Calciomercato, Di Marzio revealed important details about the club’s priorities and the concrete negotiations currently underway.
Spalletti’s Transfer Requests and Juventus’ Strategy
As reported by Di Marzio, Spalletti has a precise vision of what he wants from the market, even if everything will ultimately depend on what the club can financially manage.

The Italian coach has identified three main needs: a central striker capable of finishing chances consistently, an external attacking option who can act as a deputy to Kenan Yildiz, and a versatile wide player who can serve as an alternative to Kalulu.
At the moment, Juventus are fully focused on securing a new centre-forward. The club previously attempted a significant move for Jean-Philippe Mateta, structuring an offer that included an obligation to buy tied to certain conditions.
However, Crystal Palace firmly rejected this approach, demanding a €40 million fee and a permanent transfer with no clauses attached. Given the current stance of the English club, Di Marzio considers any immediate reopening of that deal difficult.
En-Nesyri Emerges as Juventus’ Main Target
With the Mateta option fading, Juventus have shifted their attention decisively to Youssef En-Nesyri. Di Marzio confirms that the Bianconeri have opened serious and concrete talks with Fenerbahce, with contacts continuing even in recent hours.
En-Nesyri, a Moroccan international, fits perfectly into the profile Spalletti is looking for: a pure finisher with proven goal-scoring numbers. Last season, En-Nesyri scored an impressive 30 goals for Fenerbahce, including 20 in the league, six in the Europa League, and four in the Turkish Cup.
This season, he has already added eight more goals between the Super Lig and domestic cup competitions. Due to a change in coaching staff and shifting internal dynamics at Fenerbahce, the striker is currently available on loan, making the opportunity particularly attractive.

Di Marzio also notes that Napoli and Sevilla have shown interest, but Juventus appear to have a crucial advantage. The Turin club are ready to offer En-Nesyri a starting role, something he values highly as he wants guaranteed playing time.
Napoli, by contrast, already have strong competition in attack, while Sevilla would represent a return to a familiar environment.
As things stand, Di Marzio reports that En-Nesyri is the striker Juventus are working on most intensely, making him the leading candidate to spearhead the Bianconeri’s attack in the near future.
