Brandt, solution for the midfield

Forza Juventus

Juventus remain active in the transfer market as the club continues shaping its squad for the new season under Luciano Spalletti.

While much of the attention has been focused on strengthening the attack, the Bianconeri are also working to improve the quality behind the forwards.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt has become one of the latest names under consideration, with the German international viewed as an ideal option to add creativity, vision, and technical quality in the final third.

Brandt is admired for his ability to operate between the lines and create chances for teammates, qualities Juventus believe could significantly improve their attacking play.

Alongside him, former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessié remains a concrete option after becoming a free agent following his spell with Al-Ahli.

The Ivorian’s experience, leadership, and physical presence make him an attractive profile, although his salary demands continue to represent a major obstacle in negotiations.

Spalletti Wants Depth Across Every Position

According to Corriere dello Sport, Spalletti’s objective is to build a balanced squad with two high-level options for every position as he prepares to implement his preferred 4-2-3-1 system.

The recent arrival of Zeki Celik, who can play on either defensive flank, has strengthened the backline, but Juventus are still searching for a natural left-back and a left-footed central defender.

Among the defenders being monitored, Jhon Lucumí of Bologna continues to stand out as one of the club’s preferred targets.

His defensive reliability, composure on the ball, and tactical intelligence fit the profile Juventus are looking for as they continue reshaping the squad.

Goalkeeper Search Remains the Priority

Despite recent interest from Galatasaray in Gleison Bremer, Juventus are not currently concerned by the Turkish club’s enquiries. However, the Brazilian defender could become available if an exceptional offer arrives that benefits the club financially.

The biggest priority remains signing a new goalkeeper. Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez is still Juventus’ first-choice target, but negotiations are on hold while the club waits for Aston Villa to reduce their asking price.

Only then are the Bianconeri expected to make a decisive move, as they continue carefully balancing ambition with financial discipline during the summer transfer window.
