Galatasaray open talks with Bremer’ agent

Galatasaray have begun exploring the possibility of signing Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, with the Turkish champions making their first approach to assess whether a deal could be achievable during the current transfer window.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Istanbul-based club has not yet submitted an official bid to Juventus but has already initiated preliminary discussions with the Brazilian defender’s representatives.

Galatasaray Sound Out Bremer’s Camp

Rather than opening negotiations directly with Juventus, Galatasaray have chosen to first gauge Bremer’s willingness to consider a move to Turkey.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the initial contacts focused on presenting the outlines of a highly attractive financial package that would make the experienced centre-back one of the club’s highest-paid players.

The Turkish side are reportedly prepared to offer Bremer a significant salary in an effort to convince him to leave Serie A and become the latest marquee signing in Istanbul.

While the proposal underlines Galatasaray’s ambition to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season, discussions remain at an exploratory stage, with no formal negotiations between the clubs having taken place so far.

Juventus Hold Firm on Defensive Leader

Despite the growing interest from Turkey, Juventus are not expected to let Bremer leave easily. The Brazilian international continues to be regarded as one of the pillars of the Bianconeri’s defensive unit, and the club see him as a key figure in their long-term project.

For that reason, Juventus would only consider parting ways with the 29-year-old if a substantial offer arrives that reflects his importance to the squad and his market value.

Until then, the Turin giants remain in a strong position, with no immediate pressure to sell one of their most reliable defenders.

Whether Galatasaray’s ambitious approach develops into formal negotiations remains to be seen, but the opening contacts suggest the Turkish champions are serious about testing Juventus’ resolve.

The coming weeks will determine whether their lucrative proposal is enough to convince both the player and the Italian club to consider one of the summer’s most intriguing defensive transfers.
