Totenham set EASY Vicario’ conditions for Juventus

According to Tuttosport, this could be the turning point. Or at least a concrete pathway toward Juventus’ next goalkeeper solution.

The Bianconeri are now moving more decisively for Guglielmo Vicario, shifting their focus after weeks centered on other profiles such as Emiliano “Dibu” Martínez and the failed opportunity around Mile Svilar.

The Tottenham goalkeeper, currently under contract until 2028, is increasingly seen as a viable option for Juventus, who have already identified him as a suitable candidate to eventually take over from Michele Di Gregorio.

Tottenham open to exit: loan formula changes the scenario

Until recently, the main obstacle was the cost of the operation. Tottenham had been asking around €20 million, a figure Juventus considered excessive.

However, a recent opening to a loan deal with an option to buy has significantly changed the landscape. This new structure has effectively reopened negotiations and made Vicario a realistic target.

The 29-year-old Italian keeper is reportedly ready for a return to Serie A after already seeing a potential move to Inter collapse in the past, when the Nerazzurri opted for Josep Martínez instead.

Vicario’s entourage has been working for months to find a new solution, with an expected salary package of around €4 million per year. The goalkeeper himself is no longer fully convinced by his future in London.

Juventus keep multiple options alive

Despite the growing momentum around Vicario, Juventus are still monitoring alternatives.

Martínez remains an idea, although complicated, while Parma’s Zion Suzuki has also been considered but is currently priced at around €30 million, making him difficult to pursue at this stage.

The Bianconeri’s strategy remains clear: avoid heavy investments on non-young profiles and prioritize long-term value in the squad-building process.

For now, Vicario represents the most concrete and immediate opportunity. If Tottenham’s opening is confirmed, Juventus could be ready to move quickly and decisively, with optimism growing around the deal.
