What once seemed like a promising opportunity is now hanging by a thread, with time and financial constraints working against the Italian giants.

Matt O’Riley has been on Juventus’ radar for months. The Danish midfielder has made a name for himself at Brighton thanks to his exceptional technical ability, sharp vision, and versatility.

Juventus is already exploring alternative options to reinforce its midfield. While O’Riley remains an appealing target, the club is now prioritizing more realistic moves that fit within its budget and timeline.

That doesn’t completely close the door on the Danish star. Should Brighton reconsider its position or Juventus secure significant funds through outgoing transfers, negotiations could pick up again. But, with the clock ticking, the path to an agreement is steep and narrow.
