Olympique de Marseille are reportedly interested in signing USMNT winger Timothy Weah from Juventus during this summer transfer window.
Weah, 25, is not part of Juventus manager Igor Tudor’s future plans for the 2025–26 season. The Italian giants are now open to offers and are aiming to offload the American winger before the new campaign begins.

A previous potential deal involving Nottingham Forest collapsed in late June, despite including Weah and teammate Samuel Mbangula. Now, French side Marseille have shown fresh interest and are reportedly ready to act swiftly to secure the player.
Roberto De Zerbi, who recently took charge at Marseille, is targeting reinforcements on the flanks. This need became urgent after the club sold Luis Henrique to Inter Milan earlier this summer.

According to Calciomercato, Marseille could offer Juventus a player in exchange to facilitate the transfer. Two names are being discussed: Argentine defender Leonardo Balerdi and Moroccan playmaker Amine Harit.
Juventus open to swap deal for Timothy Weah
Juventus reportedly value Weah at around €14 million, as they did during the collapsed Forest negotiations. Rather than hold out for cash, Juventus may accept a player-swap to strengthen their squad in return.

Marseille’s offer could appeal to the Bianconeri, especially given their positive history of cooperation with the French side. This includes links through former Juventus players Mehdi Benatia and Giorgio Chiellini, now holding boardroom roles at the clubs.

Weah, known for his pace and work ethic, joined Juventus from Lille in 2023 but failed to cement a key role. A move to Ligue 1 could provide him the consistent minutes needed to revive his career ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
As the transfer window heats up, more developments are expected in the coming days regarding his future.
