Juventus leading the race for Magician

Juventus are increasingly confident of winning the race for highly rated midfielder Liberali, with the Bianconeri now considered the leading contenders for the 19-year-old.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus sporting director Giovanni Carnevali has been a long-time admirer of the Catanzaro midfielder, having previously tracked him during his time at Sassuolo. His interest has only intensified since moving to Turin.

A Talent for the Future

The Carate Brianza-born midfielder has impressed in Serie B, showcasing the technical quality and vision expected of a top-level player.

While he may not yet be ready to step straight into Juventus’ starting lineup, the club believes his enormous potential makes this the right time to secure his signature before his value rises further.

A €6 Million Opportunity

Liberali’s release clause is set at €6 million, with €3 million going to Catanzaro and the remaining €3 million to AC Milan, where the midfielder developed through the youth ranks.

After progressing from Milan Futuro in Serie C to an impressive campaign in Serie B, Liberali is now considered ready for the next step in Serie A.

Although a move to a lower-table club could offer more immediate playing time, Juventus believe their rebuilding project could provide the ideal environment for his long-term development.

The Turin giants see the 2007-born midfielder gradually learning alongside Manuel Locatelli, potentially starting as his understudy before developing into a key figure for both club and country.
