Juventus are reportedly shifting focus to Porto’s Samu Aghehowa if their pursuit of Endrick fails to materialize.

The 21-year-old forward is on Manchester United’s radar as well, following a standout 2024/25 season in Portugal. United, desperate for attacking reinforcements, are evaluating several striker options after enduring a low-scoring campaign.

Aghehowa moved to Porto from Atlético Madrid last summer, after a last-minute deal with Chelsea collapsed. He didn’t let that stop him.

The Spanish striker scored 19 goals and provided 3 assists in Liga Portugal. Across all competitions, he finished with 25 goals. He also impressed in the Club World Cup, scoring twice in three appearances.

Juventus and United set for Samu Aghehowa battle

Manchester United have monitored Samu Aghehowa closely, especially after his excellent performance against them in the Europa League. He scored twice in a 3-3 draw and caused major problems for the United defense, including Matthijs de Ligt.

Reports claim new United boss Ruben Amorim is keen on bringing the player to Old Trafford. Amorim previously coached Aghehowa while managing in Portugal.

Juventus, however, could derail United’s plans. According to A Bola, the Turin giants remain strong admirers of the young striker. They reportedly attempted to sign him late last year but couldn’t finalize a deal.

With Endrick looking increasingly out of reach, Aghehowa has become a top alternative for the Serie A side. Correio da Manhã also reports interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle.

Porto won’t let him leave easily. The player’s contract includes a €100 million release clause.

Aghehowa’s rise has been swift and impressive. Now, both Premier League and Serie A giants are circling, hoping to secure his signature.
