Juventus has ‘BLOCKED’ Pellegrino

The Kolo Muani saga could last longer than expected for Juventus.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there is currently a significant gap between the Bianconeri and Paris Saint-Germain regarding the French striker, with the difference between Juventus’ offer and PSG’s demands reaching around €20 million.

Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali has taken charge of the negotiations to bring Kolo Muani back to Turin, but so far the club has reached a maximum proposal of around €35 million in total and is unlikely to go much higher.

PSG, on the other hand, continue to demand approximately €55 million for the striker.

While these could simply be typical transfer-market tactics, time is becoming a factor. July is already underway and, after the weekend, Luciano Spalletti will officially begin preparations for the new season with Juventus’ squad gathering for training.

Juventus Accelerate Talks for Mateo Pellegrino as Kolo Muani Situation Remains Open

Because of the uncertainty surrounding Kolo Muani, Juventus have intensified contacts with Mateo Pellegrino. The Parma forward is valued at around €30 million, but there is an opening for a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

However, Pellegrino and Kolo Muani would not necessarily be alternatives.

Juventus are planning a major rebuild of their attacking department, with the club looking to move on from Jonathan David, Loïs Openda and Arkadiusz Milik, while also dealing with the departure of Dušan Vlahović.

After the arrival of Jeff Ekhator, the Bianconeri still want to strengthen the squad with more attacking options.

Relations between Juventus and Parma remain excellent, which has helped the Turin club secure a short window to evaluate the Pellegrino operation.

The striker has reportedly been put on hold for around 7-10 days, waiting for his agents to arrive in Italy — or potentially for the Kolo Muani situation to finally unlock.
