Juventus have reportedly identified Lorenzo Bernasconi as one of their main targets for the left flank, with the young Atalanta defender emerging as a serious option for Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

The 23-year-old, born in Crema in 2003, has been attracting attention with his performances for Atalanta. His development has not gone unnoticed, and Juventus could now be ready to make a concrete move for the Italian during the upcoming January transfer window.

According to Il Giorno, Juventus sporting director Massimo Carnevali are prepared to invest between €20 million and €25 million to convince Atalanta to sell Bernasconi midway through the season.

Juventus Prepare Their Move for Lorenzo Bernasconi

The reported valuation demonstrates how highly Juventus rate the Italian full-back. With the club looking to strengthen Spalletti’s options on the left side, Bernasconi could represent both an immediate solution and a long-term investment.

However, Juventus may have another card to play in negotiations. Juan David Cabal could potentially be included in the operation as part of a player-plus-cash deal.

Cabal was already close to joining Atalanta during the final days of the summer transfer window, meaning his possible inclusion could help Juventus facilitate negotiations while reducing the overall financial cost of Bernasconi’s transfer.

For now, no agreement has been reached, but the situation is certainly one to watch closely as January approaches.

Juventus appear ready to explore the opportunity, while Atalanta will ultimately have to decide whether a substantial offer in the €20–25 million range is enough to part ways with one of their promising young players.

With the Bianconeri searching for greater depth and quality on the left flank, Bernasconi could become one of the names to watch when the winter market opens.
