According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are not only focusing on established stars in the transfer market but are also carefully tracking some of the most promising young talents emerging across Europe.

One of the latest names to appear on the Bianconeri’s radar is highly rated Hungarian striker Bendeguz Kovacs.

The 17-year-old forward, currently playing for AZ Alkmaar, has been attracting significant attention thanks to his impressive performances in the UEFA Youth League.

Standing at an imposing 199 centimeters, Kovacs combines physical dominance with technical ability, making him a particularly intriguing prospect for clubs looking to invest in the future.

So far in the Youth League campaign, the Hungarian striker has delivered outstanding numbers, scoring nine goals in just six matches.

His scoring instinct, aerial strength, and ability to hold up play have already made him one of the standout young attackers in the competition.

A Rapid International Development Path for Bendeguz Kovacs

Kovacs’ development has already taken him through several important stages across European football. He began his youth career at Hungarian side Debreceni VSC before moving to the renowned academy of AFC Ajax.

After gaining valuable experience in the Dutch youth system, he continued his progression at AZ Alkmaar, where he is now emerging as one of the club’s most exciting prospects.

AZ are reportedly considering promoting the young striker to their first team in the near future, a clear sign of the confidence the club has in his potential. However, interest from abroad could complicate those plans.

Growing Interest Across Europe for Bendeguz Kovacs

Juventus are not the only club keeping a close eye on Kovacs’ development. Several other European sides have reportedly joined the race, including Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa FC, and Sporting CP.

With competition increasing, AZ Alkmaar could consider offers in the region of €5 million, a fee that might convince the Dutch club to allow the talented striker to move this summer.

Interestingly, Kovacs has openly cited legendary forward Zlatan Ibrahimović as his footballing idol. The comparison is not only symbolic: his towering presence, confidence, and powerful style of play have already drawn early parallels with the iconic Swedish striker.

For Juventus, signing a player like Kovacs would represent a long-term investment, potentially securing one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards before his value rises even further.
