Juventus have already begun planning for the upcoming season, with midfield reinforcements high on their priority list.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, one of the names attracting serious attention in Turin is Ismaël Koné, the talented Canadian international currently playing for Sassuolo.

Born in 2002, Koné has steadily built a reputation as one of the most promising young midfielders in Serie A. His dynamic playing style, combining physical strength with technical ability, has not gone unnoticed.

Juventus see him as a player capable of adding energy and versatility to their midfield, an area they are keen to strengthen as they aim to return to the top of Italian football.

Strong Interest Across Italy for Ismaël Koné

However, securing Koné’s signature will not be straightforward. Juventus face stiff competition from several domestic rivals, including Inter, Milan, and Roma, all of whom are reportedly monitoring the player closely.

This growing interest could spark a bidding war, further complicating negotiations for the Bianconeri. Sassuolo, known for developing and selling top talent, are in no rush to part ways with the midfielder.

The club reportedly values Koné between €25 million and €30 million, a fee that could rise significantly if multiple clubs formally enter the race.

Such a scenario would test Juventus’ financial strategy, especially as they balance squad improvements with budget considerations.

A Summer Move on the Horizon?

From the player’s perspective, a move could be on the horizon. Koné is believed to be open to taking the next step in his career, with the ambition of joining a top club and competing at a higher level.

The end of the season is expected to be decisive, as clubs prepare formal offers and the player evaluates his options. For Juventus, the pursuit of Koné represents both an opportunity and a challenge.

Landing a young, high-potential midfielder would be a statement of intent, but beating strong Serie A rivals to his signature will require swift and decisive action in the transfer market.
