Excluded from Juventus’ plans, Filip Kostic the winger has impressed Fenerbahçe and its coach, who is eager to make his stay permanent.

José Mourinho wants Filip Kostic to remain at Fenerbahçe. And the Turkish club is expected to begin negotiations soon to secure the Serbian winger’s transfer.

Kostić joined on a season-long loan last summer, and his performances have left a strong impression on Mourinho.

At Juventus, the decision to move on from Kostić was already made last summer. As his playing style did not align with Thiago Motta’s tactical approach.

The details of Filip Kostic transfer to Fenerbahce?

Kostić is under contract with Juventus until 2026, meaning he will have just one year left on his deal by next summer.

Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli aims to generate interest in the player to avoid losing him on a free transfer. But Fenerbahçe’s determination to secure his services could eliminate competition from other clubs.

The deal is expected to be completed for a fee of around €5-6 million plus bonuses according to Giovanni Albanese. Making it a favorable outcome for both Fenerbahçe and Juventus. Kostić is happy in Turkey, and Mourinho is his strongest advocate for staying at the club.

Meanwhile, Juventus is looking to reshape its squad. And has already begun offloading players who no longer fit into the club’s long-term plans.
