Transfer market speculation never stops, even months before the summer window opens. Fabrizio Romano has once again clarified the situation regarding Bernardo Silva and his future.

According to Romano, there have been no signs so far linking the Portuguese midfielder with a move to Juventus. He explained that there are no negotiations in place, nor any formal talks at this stage.

Romano emphasized that it is still far too early to draw strong conclusions about Silva’s next destination. The player remains a key figure for Manchester City, but uncertainty about his future has grown.

90% chance of leaving City

Romano reported that Bernardo Silva is almost certain to leave Manchester City at the end of the season. He suggested the midfielder is about 90% oriented towards seeking a new experience. This decision could open the door to several opportunities across Europe.

A free transfer in the summer would make Silva a highly attractive market target. The question is whether Juventus would seriously consider making a move. Romano reminded fans that Serie A clubs have explored ambitious signings before.

He cited past speculation involving Luka Modric to Milan and Kevin De Bruyne to Napoli.Although these deals never materialized, they highlight that Italian clubs are not afraid to dream big.

Juventus could be tempted by Silva’s quality, creativity, and winning experience. However, everything remains in the realm of possibility rather than reality.

Romano warned against drawing conclusions too soon. Speaking in October, he called such discussions “wild” given the long road ahead. Manchester City still value Silva highly, and Pep Guardiola remains a strong admirer of his versatility.

For now, Juventus have not made any moves, and no discussions have taken place. The coming months will determine whether Silva truly seeks a new adventure or whether City find a way to keep him.

What is clear is that Bernardo Silva’s future will dominate transfer headlines in 2025. As Fabrizio Romano confirms, the midfielder is closer than ever to a potential departure from Manchester City.
