Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero talks to Globe Soccer about some Juventus players and changes to ‘New Juventus’. He starts :

“At Juventus expectations are what they are. When I think of Juventus, I always have high expectations. History says so. These months there’s been a change going on between the coach, the players, and part of the club. It’s not an easy environment for Juventus to do well”.

“From Juventus point of view a lot is expected and these draws have caused a lot of alarm but perhaps this latest victory can be a catalyst for the future”, added Alex Del Piero.

“I see Yildiz and Nico Gonzalez better as playmakers than wingers. When I think of Juventus I always have high expectations, history says so. During these months there has been a big change between coach, players and a section of the club and it is not easy to always perform well in an environment like the Juventus one. So far, the path has been a bit like that, the draws have sounded a bit the alarms, but maybe with this win a positive trend is resuming, then it will be up to them to show it on the pitch”.

“Danilo to join Napoli in January ?

The maturity that he has shown during these years at Juventus allows him to make the best choice. I don’t have any advice for him because he has my full respect for what he has done. It will be a difficult decision, in one way or another, but I’m certain that he will make it in the interest of everyone because he is a very sensitive and responsible person. Whatever decision he makes I think it will be respected by all, this is my opinion”. said Alex Del Piero in an interview for Globe Soccer.
