Juventus are closely watching Davide Frattesi as the transfer window approaches its decisive phase. This information comes from journalist Gianni Balzarini, who discussed the topic on his YouTube channel.

According to Balzarini, Frattesi represents an interesting and logical project for Juventus. His name has resurfaced as the January transfer window begins to take shape. Contacts have already taken place with the player’s entourage in recent weeks.

Frattesi is highly rated by Italy coach Luciano Spalletti. Under Spalletti, he played several matches for the national team and even scored important goals. This shows how much confidence the coach has in his qualities and potential.

At club level, however, Frattesi is currently experiencing a difficult situation. He is no longer central to Cristian Chivu’s plans at Inter. His playing time has decreased significantly during the first part of the season.

Frattesi initially stayed at Inter hoping to earn a regular place. That opportunity has not arrived, and his frustration is understandable. For this reason, he would welcome a change of environment.

Juventus would be a very attractive destination for him. The club had already shown interest when he was playing for Sassuolo. Many fans still remember comparisons with Claudio Marchisio, including physical similarities.

Financial Obstacles and January Limits

Despite the strong interest, Balzarini urges caution regarding a January move. Juventus are unlikely to complete such an operation during the winter window.

The main obstacle is the transfer fee. Frattesi’s valuation currently stands between 35 and 40 million euros. Last summer, Inter reportedly asked for 40 million euros.

Roma attempted an approach but were discouraged by that high price. Since then, Frattesi’s market value has slightly decreased. Limited playing time inevitably affects any player’s valuation.

Even so, 35 million euros remains a significant investment. Juventus are unlikely to spend that amount in January. The club must consider budget constraints and financial fair play regulations.

Juventus are carefully monitoring every operation this winter. The priority is maintaining financial balance while improving the squad. For this reason, any move for Frattesi may be postponed.

A summer transfer appears more realistic at this stage. By then, conditions could be more favorable for all parties involved. Gianni Balzarini remains the primary source of these insights and developments.
