Juventus remain in control of their Champions League qualification hopes despite consecutive draws against direct rivals, currently occupying fourth place—tied on points with fifth-placed Lazio.

Manager Igor Tudor will likely welcome the visit of Udinese, a team the Bianconeri have dominated in recent Serie A meetings, winning 12 of the last 15 encounters (D2, L1).

Their home form in 2025 has been exceptional, boasting seven victories in eight league outings at the Allianz Stadium (D1). Notably, all three of their home matches under Tudor’s guidance have ended in triumph.

Should Tudor secure another win, he would join an exclusive club of managers—only Massimiliano Allegri (2014) and Maurizio Sarri (2019) have won their first four home league games with Juventus in the last 55 years. Aiding his pursuit of that milestone is Juve’s impressive record of ten home clean sheets this season, the best in the league.

Udinese, on the other hand, are coming off a demoralizing 2-1 loss to already-relegated Monza—a result that marked their sixth defeat in eight league games (W1, D1).

This poor run has virtually ended their hopes of a top-half finish, with a four-point gap separating them from tenth-placed Como, a deficit that appears daunting given their current trajectory.

There was a glimmer of promise in their recent 1-0 win at Cagliari, breaking a streak of three straight away defeats. However, that result was just their second away win of the year (D3, L4).

Although the odds are stacked against them, Udinese can draw confidence from their 1-0 win in Turin last season. Interestingly, none of the last 28 league clashes between these two sides at Juventus’ home ground have ended level (UDI: W6, L22), suggesting another decisive outcome is likely.

Key player to watch: Juventus vs Udinese

Key players to watch: Randal Kolo Muani has found the net in two of Juventus’ last three fixtures, with all seven of his goals coming after the half-hour mark.

For Udinese, Lorenzo Lucca marked his return from injury by scoring against Monza, bringing his Serie A goal tally to 11—three of his last four strikes have opened the scoring.

Stat of note: No team has lost more Serie A matches after leading at halftime this season than Udinese, with four such defeats.
