Juventus are back home for Matchday 6 of the League Phase of this season’s UEFA Champions League, hosting Premier League champions Manchester City in a scintillating clash at the Allianz Stadium.

Memories from 2015

HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD | Juventus and Manchester City have faced each other on six previous occasions in Europe. After losing their first meeting in September 1976 (0-1 in the UEFA Cup), Juventus have remained unbeaten in each of their last five matches against the English side (3W, 2D).

STRONG STREAK | Manchester City’s current winless streak against Juventus is the longest against an opponent in a European competition (five), along with a five-match series against Barcelona between 2014 and 2016.

LEAKING GOALS | The Cityzens have conceded seven goals in their last two Champions League matches (four against Sporting and three against Feyenoord), after keeping their goal unbeaten in their first three UCL matches this season. In his coaching career in the competition, Pep Guardiola has never seen his team concede more than two goals in three consecutive games (among all clubs).

LIVEWIRE | Francisco Conceicao has completed 18 dribbles in his four matches in this Champions League. His average of 5.2 dribbles completed per 90 minutes is currently the highest ever recorded by a Juventus player in a single season (since 2003/04, min. 300 minutes played).

ONE TO WATCH | Rico Lewis of Manchester City is the youngest player to have played every minute for his team in this Champions League (20 years and 20 days on the day of this match). In the first five matchdays of the 2024/25 edition, he is first among all players under the age of 21 in both chances created (13) and Expected Assists (2).
