Juventus’ transfer strategy continues to revolve around familiar ideas that resurface with renewed intensity, and once again the spotlight turns to France.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri have revived their long-standing interest in Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, currently a key figure at Olympique Marseille.

The Danish midfielder has long been identified as an ideal profile to bring greater physicality, leadership, and top-level experience into Juventus’ engine room.
Luciano Spalletti has publicly stated that he considers his midfield department numerically and technically complete.
However, he has also left the door open to exceptions, stressing that the club should only move if a “top player” becomes available. This message was reiterated in recent press conferences and has been clearly received at Continassa.
Højbjerg fits that definition perfectly, which explains why Juventus’ internal discussions and contacts have intensified in recent days, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.

Højbjerg the priority, but Marseille stand firm
The main obstacle remains Marseille’s firm stance. The French club, coached by Roberto De Zerbi, has no intention of losing one of its leaders midway through the season.
Højbjerg is considered central to the team’s balance, making any potential negotiation complex and heavily dependent on diplomacy and timing. Juventus, however, are increasing their efforts on the player’s side.
The Dane is intrigued by the prospect of playing in Serie A and is not indifferent to Juventus’ interest. While Marseille continue to resist, the winter transfer window is still open, leaving room for further developments.
Frattesi, Chiesa and Spalletti’s other requests
An equally attractive yet difficult alternative leads to Davide Frattesi. The Inter midfielder, currently on the fringes of the Nerazzurri project, has previously flourished under Spalletti with the national team.
A reunion could help relaunch his career, but Inter are unwilling to strengthen a direct rival and would only consider a sale abroad, effectively closing this path for Juventus.

Beyond midfield, Spalletti has clearly outlined other priorities. He wants a deputy for Kenan Yildiz in attack and reinforcements at right-back. Federico Chiesa remains a name of interest up front.
Despite featuring for 60 minutes in the FA Cup, his role at Liverpool is still marginal. The Reds, however, are holding out for a permanent transfer, while Juventus are proposing a loan with conditional obligation to buy, leaving negotiations at a standstill.
Should these talks collapse, Juventus are already evaluating alternatives.
Daniel Maldini, who could leave Atalanta, is one option, while moves for Yannick Carrasco …
… and Fiorentina’s Gudmundsson …
… appear far more complicated.
As emphasized by Corriere dello Sport, Juventus’ market is gradually taking shape, with Højbjerg remaining the dream signing around which everything else revolves.
