Davide Frattesi, the 1999-born Italian midfielder, faces limited opportunities at Inter Milan. Despite his potential, he is currently not considered a starter under  Cristian Chivu.

According to Sportmediaset, this situation could open the door for a move as early as January. Juventus has reportedly shown strong interest in the young international. The club sees Frattesi as a potential fit for Spalletti’s tactical shift toward a 4-2-3-1 formation.

This strategic adjustment could give him more playing time and a chance to thrive in Serie A. The Turin club is exploring the possibility of a serious approach to Inter, aiming to negotiate a deal that satisfies all parties.

Negotiations and Challenges

Frattesi’s entourage is actively mediating talks, reflecting the player’s dissatisfaction with his current role at Inter. Sportmediaset reports that Inter’s asking price for the midfielder is around €35 million.

For Juventus, this figure is steep, but they are hopeful for a discount due to Frattesi’s reserve status. The financial aspect could prove crucial in determining whether the move materializes in the January transfer window.

Beyond the numbers, Juventus sees Frattesi as a player capable of adding creativity and energy to their midfield. His versatility allows him to adapt to multiple positions, making him an appealing option in case of injuries or tactical changes.

For Inter, letting Frattesi leave might be challenging, but accommodating the transfer could benefit all sides if the player seeks regular playing time.

With the January market approaching, attention will likely remain on this potential deal. Frattesi’s career trajectory and Juventus’s midfield ambitions are closely intertwined.
