Juventus v Bologna | Expected Lineup

After edging past Atalanta 1-0 last weekend, Juventus climbed into fourth place in Serie A, overtaking Como. The Bianconeri now aim to solidify their top-four standing against a Bologna side that has revived its European ambitions with back-to-back league victories.

Juventus’ recent form highlights their growing momentum. They are unbeaten in their last six Serie A matches (four wins and two draws), collecting 14 points in that stretch—second only to Napoli.

Under Luciano Spalletti, the team has also tightened defensively, recording four clean sheets during this run. Their consistency has been rewarded, with the coach recently signing a two-year contract extension.

At home, Juventus remain particularly strong, losing just once all season at the Allianz Stadium and staying unbeaten against teams currently outside the top five.

Bologna’s Away Strength Keeps Hope Alive

Bologna arrive in Turin with renewed belief despite their recent European disappointment. Consecutive league wins against relegation-threatened Cremonese and Lecce have brought them within five points of the top seven.

While their UEFA Europa League journey ended with a heavy defeat to Aston Villa, their domestic away form has been impressive.

The Rossoblù have won four straight Serie A matches on the road and are chasing a rare fifth consecutive away victory.

However, they have struggled against higher-ranked opposition away from home, failing to secure a win in such encounters this season.

Historically, Juventus hold the upper hand in this fixture, remaining unbeaten in their last 14 home meetings with Bologna. Yet, recent clashes have often been closely contested, with draws dominating the head-to-head record.

Key trends could shape the outcome. Juventus have frequently struck first, opening the scoring in 19 league games this season, while also proving dangerous late on, with 13 goals scored after the 76th minute.

Bologna, on the other hand, have shown consistency in attack, scoring in each of their last 14 away league matches, and defensive resilience early in games, avoiding conceding before half-time in their last nine Serie A outings.

With both teams bringing strong form and clear objectives, this clash promises to be a tightly fought contest.
