Juventus interested in Serbian super talent

Despite having made just 36 appearances for Red Star’s senior side, 17-year-old Vasilije Kostov is already attracting serious attention across Europe.

According to Calciomercato, four major clubs are currently tracking the Serbian talent: Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Arsenal.

Europe’s Elite Circle Around Kostov

Kostov’s rise has been swift and impressive. Although still in the early stages of his professional journey, the teenager has already shown remarkable maturity and composure on the pitch.

This season alone, he has delivered 12 goals and six assists in 33 official matches — numbers that underline both his attacking efficiency and creative influence.

While his experience at senior level remains limited, his development curve suggests enormous potential. It is precisely this blend of youth, productivity, and technical promise that has drawn interest from some of the continent’s most competitive sides.

Premier League football is said to be Kostov’s preferred destination at this stage, but a transfer will ultimately depend on which club can strike a satisfactory agreement with his current employers.

Red Star Stand Firm on Valuation for Vasilije Kostov

Red Star Belgrade are in no rush to let their prized asset leave. After securing approximately €15 million from the sale of Veljko Milosavljevic to Bournemouth, sporting director Zvezdan Terzic reportedly believes Kostov is worth nearly double that figure. The Serbian giants are determined not to undersell another emerging star.

Inter, however, may hold a strategic advantage. Kostov’s agent is Nikola Kolarov, brother of former player and current assistant coach Aleksandar Kolarov, who works alongside Cristian Chivu.

That connection could prove influential should the Nerazzurri intensify their pursuit. For now, Kostov’s future remains open, but one thing is certain: Europe’s elite are watching closely as one of Serbia’s brightest young prospects prepares for the next step in his career.
