As the current campaign approaches its conclusion, Juventus are already turning their attention toward the future.

The Bianconeri have endured a season filled with ups and downs, and the club’s leadership is determined to finish it as strongly as possible while simultaneously laying the groundwork for the next chapter.

According to reports from TuttoJuve, the management of the Turin giants has already begun evaluating potential reinforcements and strategic decisions that could shape the squad for the upcoming season.

Juventus Planning for Defensive Reinforcements

One of the main priorities appears to be strengthening the defensive department. Juventus are reportedly monitoring Joel Ordóñez, a promising young center-back currently playing for Club Brugge KV.

The Ecuadorian defender, born in 2004, has rapidly developed into one of the most intriguing South American prospects currently playing in Europe.

Despite being only 21 years old, Ordóñez has already gained valuable experience at a competitive level and is viewed by many scouts as a player capable of thriving in elite leagues.

Juventus’ interest is part of a broader strategy focused on identifying young, high-potential talents who can contribute both immediately and in the long term.

With the club aiming to rebuild and maintain competitiveness domestically and in European competitions, investing in emerging defenders like Ordóñez could become a key element of the project.

Rising Competition and Market Value for Joel Ordóñez

Ordóñez has not gone unnoticed across Europe. Last summer, the defender was linked with Inter Milan, while during the winter transfer window he reportedly attracted attention from Liverpool FC.

Such interest highlights how quickly his reputation has grown within the European football scene. In September, Ordóñez signed a contract extension with Club Brugge, a move that strengthened the Belgian club’s position in any future negotiations.

Reports suggest that Brugge currently value the defender at around €50 million — a significant fee that could prove challenging for Juventus.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are also working on internal decisions regarding key players, including the potential long-term future of Dušan Vlahović, who remains a central figure in the club’s technical project.

With the summer transfer window approaching, Juventus are gradually shaping their strategy. If the club decides to accelerate their interest, Joel Ordóñez could soon emerge as one of the most talked-about names in the Bianconeri’s transfer plans.
