According to Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Juventus is closely monitoring Davide Frattesi’s situation. Meanwhile, Inter Milan has reportedly shown interest in a Juventus player. Moretto summarized the latest developments, as reported by TuttoJuve.

“Frattesi’s future is one of the most interesting stories of the transfer market. There are real possibilities he could leave Inter in January,” Moretto explained. “I would say he may leave in the next few months. Of course, a single goal or a strong performance can change a season, but his situation is worth keeping an eye on.”

Frattesi, 26, has played 13 games for Inter this season. His contract runs until 2028, but he has struggled to secure regular playing time. Moretto highlighted that Juventus is extremely attentive to the midfielder, with Luciano Spalletti being a long-time admirer.

Spalletti previously tried to sign him for Napoli and has valued him in the national team setup. Now, the coach reportedly wants Frattesi at Juventus. If the conditions are right for all parties, a January move could be on the cards.

Negotiations for a contract renewal between Frattesi and Inter, which began at the end of the summer transfer window, are currently stalled. This uncertainty makes the potential Torino-Milan transfer corridor particularly intriguing, given the historic excitement it has generated in past market dealings.

Inter Targets Thuram in Potential Swap

Moretto also revealed that Inter may be targeting Juventus’ Khéphren Thuram. “It’s not just about Frattesi. Inter likes Khéphren Thuram, Marcus Thuram’s younger brother. He could even be part of a broader operation,” he explained.

Thuram, 24, has appeared 18 times for Juventus across all competitions this season, with a contract running until 2029. The potential transfer could involve complex negotiations, but both clubs appear to be exploring options.

Juventus remains vigilant over Frattesi, while Inter could be willing to let him go if the right deal emerges. These developments suggest an exciting market dynamic between two of Italy’s most prominent clubs, with player movements possibly reshaping lineups in the months ahead.

Matteo Moretto’s insights shed light on a developing story that football fans and market watchers should follow closely, particularly regarding Frattesi’s future and Thuram’s possible role in any negotiations.
