Carnesecchi to arrive on swap deal

Juventus are continuing to explore options for their goalkeeping department ahead of next season, and one of the names attracting significant attention is Marco Carnesecchi.

The Atalanta and Italy international has emerged as a highly regarded target for the Turin giants as they evaluate potential reinforcements between the posts.

According to reports from TuttoAtalanta, Carnesecchi is currently viewed as one of Juventus’ leading alternatives should their pursuit of Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson fail to materialize.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a steady rise in Italian football and is considered one of the most promising goalkeepers in Serie A, making him an attractive option for the Bianconeri.

Atalanta Set High Price for Their Star Goalkeeper

Despite Juventus’ interest, completing a deal for Carnesecchi is expected to be far from straightforward. Atalanta reportedly have no intention of parting ways with the goalkeeper unless they receive a substantial financial offer.

The Bergamo-based club view him as a key part of their project and would only consider negotiations if the proposal reflects his growing value and importance to the squad.

This could create a significant obstacle for Juventus, especially if the club is forced to operate with a reduced transfer budget.

Missing out on the financial benefits associated with Champions League participation would naturally limit the club’s spending power, making a major cash offer difficult to justify.

Possible Swap Deal Emerging

An alternative solution may already be taking shape. Reports suggest that Atalanta have shown interest in Michele Di Gregorio, who could be on his way out of Juventus during the summer transfer window.

As a result, discussions involving a player exchange should not be ruled out. A potential swap deal featuring Carnesecchi and Di Gregorio, with Juventus adding a financial compensation package in Atalanta’s favor, could provide a workable framework for both clubs.

Such an arrangement would allow Atalanta to secure a proven replacement while receiving additional funds, while Juventus would obtain one of Italy’s most highly rated goalkeepers.

For now, the situation remains in its early stages, but with both clubs evaluating their options, further developments are expected in the coming days as the summer transfer market begins to gather momentum.
